Where there is rain...March 20

Does it rain a lot in Seattle? Yes.
But its not so bad, at least to me. You get some perks from all the rain, rainbows being one of the more compelling ones. This is a crappy picture taken from my window, I really wish I had been up higher and outside, where you could get the actual bow effect, you could actually see both sides of the rainbow, which is pretty cool. All the green stuff is also nice. Things are beginning to settle down a bit, the apartment is for all intents and purposes unpacked. The nail in the coffin of moving will happen this Saturday when the movers come get the mountain of boxes in our living and dining rooms. Soon I will lack any kind of excuse for not being attentive to this space.

Well, there's always work... I ended up staying home today so I'd have less distractions. I really love the freedom to be able to do that when I need to. This weekend Shawna and I are going to try to test drive a new (new to us, not factory new) car. We've decided to sell both our cars and consolidate them into a single vehicle. As I take the bus to work every morning, and we only have one parking space, it seems foolish to let my car sit outside, only being used occasionally on the weekend. Currently we have our eyes on a Suzuki SX4. Its a wagon (which I like), gets better (or as good as) gas mileage than both our current cars, is all wheel drive, is pretty compact for around the city, and seems to have gotten pretty good reviews. Plus we can buy a nearly new one with the money we get for our cars, which means no car payments.

There was a preety good writeup about Gary Gygax in the grey lady. If you don't know who he is, I really question how you could have possibly ended up on my website. Suffice it to say, he's a fallen hero.

FINALLY! Some new sins. Am I the only one who feels like it took forever for these to come out?

I love this website:Stuff White People Like. Its dead on. I like all of this shit.

Ever wonder what bills were bigger than a hundred? Well fuck you, I did.
